Part-time Child Care Worker Montessori Children’s Place New Port Richey, FL 34652 Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and the ability to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. This role involves caring for children of various ages, supporting their development, and ensuring their well-being while engaging them in educational and recreational activities. Responsibilities Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development. Provide support for children with disabilities, employing effective behavior management techniques. Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns that may arise. Assist with daily routines such as meal preparation, nap time, and personal hygiene. Foster positive relationships with children through active engagement and encouragement. Collaborate with other childcare staff to create a cohesive program that meets the needs of all children. Skills Experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, or as a nanny or babysitter. Strong classroom management skills to maintain order and promote positive behavior among children. Knowledge of special education practices to support children with diverse needs. Ability to implement effective behavior management strategies tailored to individual children’s requirements. Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
