After School Teacher (for preschool & early elementary)

Pay:

$18-20+ per hour to start

Desired Start Date:

August 8th with the option to start this summer

Schedule:

Monday through Friday from 2:15-4:15pm

Description:

Seeking After School Teacher for a holistic, bilingual preschool and early elementary in St. Pete. Ideal applicant demonstrates an understanding of child development, a willingness to learn, has strong classroom management skills, and is both reliable and trustworthy. Maximum of 10 kids in the after school program with another experienced teacher on sight that will be available to support as needed.

Qualifications:

Bilingual preferred but not necessary (English & Spanish) Clear criminal and abuse history Education experience Must have SSN to run background check Responsibilities (include but not limited to): Care for the whole child (Conscious Discipline experience a plus) Complete and maintain necessary credentials (discussed further in interview) Demonstrate and uphold the values of Canguros Perform daily school tasks, etc Visit our website at canguros.org to learn more about who we are and what we do!
