AM ET Pay Range:
$14.50/hr About this opportunity: This position is responsible for providing childcare services for adolescents including personal care, hygiene, learning, developmental activities, and specialized programs.
Key responsibilities:
Provides constant care for the needs of the children in an efficient, clean, loving, safe, secure, and healthy manner. Implements age-appropriate activity and development plans utilizing discovery areas and hands-on activities. Observes the needs and progress of the children, communicates with Lead/Case Manager providing input and documentation on the physical, emotional, social, and academic needs of the individual children. G.E.D. AND
Two years’ Childcare experience Knowledge of the principles and practices of Child Behavior and Development. Must possess valid CPR/First Aid Certification Must possess State Driver’s License and safe driving record. Must pass Local Law Enforcement, State of Florida Dept. of Children and Families (DCF), and FBI background screenings.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Work is performed in a normal childcare environment where changes in weather and discomforts associated with outdoor activities may occur. Duties are performed by combinations of sitting, standing, and walking on a frequent change basis.
