Floater The Nicholas Vosotas Kimberly Home Childcare Center 1194 Grove Street, Clearwater, FL 33755 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Floater to join our educational team. The Floater will support various classrooms within our infant/toddler setting, providing essential assistance to teachers and ensuring a nurturing environment for children. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about early childhood education and eager to gain diverse experience in childcare settings. Responsibilities Assist classroom teachers in daily activities and lesson implementation. Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and transitions. Support behavior management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment. Help with classroom management tasks, including organizing materials and preparing learning spaces. Adapt to different classrooms as needed, providing continuity of care and support across age groups. Communicate effectively with staff and children to ensure a collaborative atmosphere. Skills Experience in preschool or infant/toddler settings is preferred. Strong background in early childhood education principles and practices preferred. High school diploma/GED required Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while promoting positive behavior. Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Passion for working with children and supporting their developmental needs. Pass a level 2 background check required. All ELC classes completed prior to starting required.
