Preschool Floater all children Christian academy Largo, FL 33770 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool Floater to join our team. In this role, you will support classroom teachers and provide care for children in various age groups, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. You will play a vital role in fostering children’s development and learning through engaging activities while also assisting with daily operations within the preschool setting. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing curriculum and daily activities for children. Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and nap times. Provide support to children with special needs or those requiring early intervention. Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes childhood development. Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children’s progress and needs. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Experience Ideal candidates will possess the following skills and experience: Background in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred. Experience working with students or children in a preschool setting. Knowledge of childhood development principles, including toddler care. Familiarity with curriculum development and early intervention strategies. Understanding of child welfare practices to ensure a safe learning environment. Experience in special education is a plus, but not required. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
