The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a passion for supporting the academic and emotional development of children. This role involves working closely with students to provide tailored interventions that enhance their learning experiences and address any behavioral challenges they may face. Responsibilities Assess individual student needs and develop personalized intervention plans to support their academic growth. Implement effective classroom management strategies to create a positive learning environment. Provide guidance and support in areas such as behavior management, academic advising, and social-emotional development. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to each child’s education. Facilitate small group or one-on-one sessions focusing on subjects such as math and literacy. Utilize Montessori methods and principles when applicable to foster independent learning among students. Maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions, adjusting strategies as necessary based on data collected. Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or a related field preferred. Experience working with preschool-aged children or toddlers is highly desirable. Strong skills in classroom management and behavior management techniques. Familiarity with academic advising practices and the ability to implement them effectively. Knowledge of Montessori principles is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with students, parents, and staff.
