Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher who shares our faith-based values and passion for early childhood development. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, safe, and spiritually enriching classroom environment, helping children grow academically, socially, and in their walk with Christ.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons that support spiritual, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Integrate Bible stories, songs, and faith-based values into the daily curriculum. Foster a classroom atmosphere of kindness, respect, and cooperation. Provide attentive, loving care and guidance to all students. Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and school events. Ensure a safe, clean, and organized learning environment. Collaborate with fellow staff members to plan and participate in school events.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. DCF 45-hour training completed (preferred but not required). CDA credential (preferred). Previous experience in a preschool or childcare setting. CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain). Strong classroom management skills and a warm, patient demeanor. Active member of a Christian church and able to integrate faith into teaching.
