The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role involves educating and engaging preschool-aged children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development through creative lesson plans and activities. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote literacy education and early intervention strategies. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support children’s educational journeys. Assess students’ progress and adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including those with special education requirements. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s development, behavior, and educational needs. Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience within the private school setting. Maintain classroom organization and manage student behavior in accordance with school policies. Qualifications Under go a Level 2 background screening. DCF 45 hours Experience working with children in an educational setting is essential; prior experience in preschool or special education is a plus. Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and literacy education strategies. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff members. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to various learning styles within the classroom. Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young children are critical for success in this role.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time Pay:

$13.00 – $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
