The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and creating a positive impact on young minds. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to stimulate and educate children Provide a safe and caring environment that encourages social, emotional, and intellectual development Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns Supervise children at all times to ensure their safety Manage classroom activities and promote positive behavior through effective classroom management techniques Must complete DCF 45 hours training within 90 days and schedule for the DCF competency test. Requirements Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred Ability to adapt to the needs of individual children while maintaining a cohesive group dynamic Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
