Responsibilities Support the implementation of the Balanced Learning® curriculum to foster children’s development. Assist in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. Engage with children through play-based learning activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure high-quality care and education standards are met. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress and daily activities. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Requirements Experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting is preferred. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. A passion for early childhood education and commitment to fostering children’s growth. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Staff Credential or a Child Development Degree (a CDA) or an equivalent degree Directors Credential. Completed the Division of the Children and Families (DCF) mandatory 45 hour training. Must be able to be insurable to drive our 14-passenger school bus. Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency. Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. Pay is negotiable based on experience and education.
