Infant/ Toddler Teacher Green Day Early Learning Center 894 Gary Hillery Drive, Winter Springs, FL 32708 Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated infant/Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality education and care for toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting a love for learning. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery. Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development. Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging social skills and emotional growth. Manage classroom behavior effectively, implementing strategies to maintain a positive learning atmosphere. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns that may arise. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Skills Strong understanding of childhood development principles. Experience working with students in a preschool or childcare setting. Proficiency in classroom management techniques to create a structured learning environment. Knowledge of caregiving practices related to infant care, toddler care, and special education needs. Ability to engage children through creative activities such as arts, crafts, music, and play. Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and staff members. Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children. Previous experience in roles such as nannying or babysitting is beneficial.
