The ideal candidate will support the overall management of the center, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. This role involves collaborating with the Director to implement programs that promote early childhood education and development while fostering positive relationships with families and staff. Duties Assist in the daily operations of the child care center, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations and quality standards. Support curriculum development that incorporates early childhood education principles, including toddler care and special education needs. Supervise classroom activities, providing guidance in behavior management and caregiving techniques. Foster a positive learning environment by engaging with children and promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development. Collaborate with staff to create individualized educational plans for children with disabilities or special needs. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns that may arise. Assist in training and mentoring staff on best practices in childcare, classroom management, and educational strategies. Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment for children to learn and play. Experience A background in early childhood education or a related field is preferred. Experience working in a childcare setting is essential; familiarity with toddler care and babysitting is a plus. Knowledge of behavior management techniques and experience working with children with disabilities is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children, parents, and staff members. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating leadership qualities.
