Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Assistant Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children and creating a positive learning environment. If you have experience working with children, possess strong organizational and communication skills, and have a passion for early childhood education, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children
• Create a safe and nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes respect, kindness, and cooperation
• Provide individualized attention and support to students with special needs or learning challenges, including those on the autism spectrum
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with educational standards
• Assess student progress through observation, assessment tools, and parent conferences
• Maintain open lines of communication with parents/guardians regarding their child’s progress, behavior, and any concerns or achievements
• Ensure the health and safety of all students by following proper procedures for supervision, hygiene, and emergency situations
• Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and parent-teacher conferences as required

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting
• Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
• Familiarity with curriculum development and implementation
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to effectively manage a classroom environment while promoting positive behavior management techniques
• Proficiency in math concepts relevant to preschool education
• Knowledge of literacy education strategies for young learners

Note:

All positions must be paid including internship positions.
