This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in education administration, capable of managing staff and resources effectively to meet the needs of both students and families. MDE School of East Cobb, Inc. is a nurturing, inclusive and neurodiverse learning environment dedicated to serving young children with special needs. Responsibilities Assist the Director in overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with educational and safety standards. Collaborate with educators, therapists, and support staff to design and implement individualized learning plans. Support staff training and development to enhance teaching strategies for students with diverse learning needs. Build strong relationships with families, providing guidance and support to foster positive communication and student success Educate staff on best practices in early childhood education and provide ongoing professional development opportunities. Maintain enrollment records, manage schedules, and assist with budgeting and program development. Ensure that health, safety, and cleanliness standards are maintained throughout the facility. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, Special Education, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a preschool or special education setting. Knowledge of individualized education programs (IEP’s) and strategies for diverse learning needs. Knowledge of early childhood state laws. Knowledge of GELDS (Georgia Early Learning Developmental Standards). Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
