Job Description

Infant/Toddler Teacher Blast Learning Academy 320 Riverside Pkwy, Austell, GA 30168 Blast Learning Academy is seeking an dedicated and passionate Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for infants to 2 year old students, fostering their early development and preparing them for future learning stages. The ideal candidate is an experienced educator who loves working with toddlers and is committed to providing high-quality early childhood education.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that support early learning and development in areas such as language, motor skills, sensory exploration, and social-emotional growth. Plan and lead engaging, interactive activities that cater to individual developmental needs and learning styles. Create a safe, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes positive behavior and healthy emotional development. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child’s milestones, daily activities, and areas for improvement. Assess and document each child’s developmental progress and provide feedback to parents. Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to create a cohesive, supportive, and effective learning environment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom at all times. Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and Bright from the Start guidelines. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with early childhood education practices and trends. Must have open availability to be able to work anytime between 7am and 6pm. Must have reliable transportation.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2-4 years of experience working with infants and toddlers or in an early childhood education setting. Strong understanding of infant and toddler development and best practices for early learning. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both children and adults. Strong organizational and time management skills. CPR and First Aid certification. Knowledge of Georgia’s Bright from the Start rules and regulations.
