Church Half Day Preschool teacher begins August Tree of Life Learning Center 21 Church Street, Dawsonville, GA 30534 Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a commitment to early childhood education principles and church missionary work . Must be mission minded in putting the lord first to incorporate into each child’s life. Must be able to engage children in meaningful learning experiences and meet children where their needs are . Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement. Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful atmosphere for all students. Provide individualized support to students, including those needing additional assistance or enrichment. Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Collaborate with teachers to have excellent team work . Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills. Teach physical education activities that promote physical health and motor skills development. Engage in curriculum development initiatives to improve educational offerings. Experience Candidates should possess the following qualifications: Experience in toddler care and early childhood education settings is preferred. Proven skills in classroom management and the ability to create an engaging learning environment. Experience working with diverse student populations and adapting teaching methods accordingly. Strong background in lesson planning and curriculum development tailored for preschool-aged children. Ability to provide tutoring support as needed, helping students achieve their academic goals. Previous experience in private school settings is a plus but not required.
