Full Job Description Position Overview:

The Change Littles Nursery Helper provides loving, attentive, and faith-centered care for infants through preschool-aged children (6 weeks to 4 years old) during worship service and ministry events as scheduled. This role ensures a safe, clean, and nurturing environment, engages children in age-appropriate activities, and supports the spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being of every child. Nursery Helpers serve as essential members of the Change Littles Ministry, supporting families and enabling them to participate fully in church life.

Spiritual Responsibilities:

Uncompromised commitment to Change Church’s vision, values, core beliefs and statement of faith. Be a born-again Christian who conducts affairs in accordance with the Bible and maintains a lifestyle consistent with the Scriptures.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Serve in excellence by being early and prepared for all scheduled meetings. Establish and foster an exemplary relationship with staff/non-staff workers, church membership, and the community at large. Demonstrate a servant’s heart by having a willingness to perform other duties as needs may arise. Welcome children and families with warmth and professionalism. Provide direct supervision and nurturing care for children ages 6 weeks to 4 years. Engage children in simple Bible-based activities (songs, stories, play) that reflect Christian values. Follow nursery guidelines for feeding, diapering, sanitizing toys/surfaces, and health protocols. Maintain accurate sign-in/out procedures and ensure children are released only to authorized individuals. Notify ministry leadership of any incidents, concerns, or supply needs. Support the Change Littles Lead and other team members in maintaining a peaceful, joyful, and orderly nursery environment. Demonstrate a servant’s heart and a willingness to step into other duties as needed. Supervisory Responsibilities None
