OBJECTIVES

Create and maintain a nurturing, engaging classroom environment that promotes children’s emotional security, intellectual growth, and joyful learning. Implement the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum with fidelity , using pre-designed lesson plans to foster development in language, math, science, social studies, and character education. Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and co-teachers , encouraging open communication, trust, and collaboration. Support each child’s unique developmental journey by observing, assessing, and adapting classroom experiences to meet individual learning needs. Model professionalism and passion for early childhood education , contributing to a positive, respectful, and growth-minded school culture. Ensure classroom compliance with state and Primrose safety and health standards , promoting a secure, clean, and organized learning environment. Partner with school leadership to support enrollment, parent engagement, and staff development efforts that contribute to the success of the school community.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

A passion for early childhood education and a heart for helping children thrive Strong classroom management and communication skills CDA, TCC, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s in ECE or related field preferred Experience in a licensed childcare, preschool, or Pre-K setting preferred Must meet local and state childcare licensing requirements Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and actively engage with young children throughout the day

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to move around the school, including standing, walking, and navigating between classrooms and actively engage with young children throughout the day Occasionally lift and carry items such as educational materials, office supplies, or classroom equipment (typically up to 25-30 pounds).
