Job Overview The Associate Director of Childcare & Curriculum will assist in leading and overall operation of the Northside Church Child Development Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early education administration and early learning curriculum, with a focus on creating a nurturing and educational environment for children. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a positive atmosphere for both staff and students. Responsibilities Manage daily operations, including, staffing, and resource allocation. Lead the creation, implementation, and continuous improvement of curriculum and educational programming for all age groups (infants through pre-K). Supervise and support staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities. Collaborate with parents and the community to promote the child care program and enhance family engagement. Ensure compliance with state licensing, and federal regulations regarding child care services. Monitor children’s progress and development, conducting assessments as necessary. Create a safe, welcoming environment that encourages learning and exploration. Skills Proven experience in early education teaching or education administration is essential. Strong ability to educate and mentor staff while fostering a collaborative team environment. Experience working with students of various ages, understanding their developmental needs. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with parents, staff, and the community. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
