AED Certification Full Job Description ROLE :

Loving Educator and Nanny. The position primarily involves serving as an educator, with minimal responsibilities related to nannying and caring for the children. Please DO NOT apply without a genuine love for children and formal experience as an educator and/or nanny. This position has full private living accommodations in a separate Puerto Rico apartment .

START DATE

: Ideally June/July 2025.

WHO YOU’LL CARE FOR

: Two children, a boy aged 5 years and a girl aged 3 years.

OUR CHILDREN ARE

: Well-mannered and highly adaptable. Our son is exceptionally talented at using his hands to create his own world; “gifted” truly describes him. He is very hands-on, imaginative, and confident. Our son loves to build and craft. Our daughter is the diva of the household. She embodies femininity while also being intelligible, observant, and curious. Both children enjoy being outdoors and embracing adventure. They take pleasure in learning new things and showcasing their creative projects.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR

: Both a private educator and a nanny, as our family previously split our time between Puerto Rico and Atlanta, GA. We’ve made the decision to stay in Puerto Rico for the majority of the year to maintain a steady flow, but we still value the school curriculum from back home. Our top priority is to connect with someone who will love and nurture our children just as we do. This person should be an outstanding primary caregiver while also providing academic support. Given the differences in school curricula between Georgia and Puerto Rico, we need someone who prioritizes consistency in learning to avoid any confusion. Please have a formal educational background. We have a pretty laid back home environment but equally, we are advocates of Montessori education and value holistic approaches to healing and lifestyle. We practice the importance of instilling spirituality in our children’s upbringing. We view educators as professionals and, therefore, are committed to maintaining clear expectations and boundaries to set everyone up for success! Additionally, we are looking for someone who:

• Can handle light home organization tasks related to children and restock supplies
• Is comfortable driving children to places like parks, museums, extracurriculars, sports, etc.
• Has flexibility!

A willingness to adapt and proactively assist with all tasks is essential, as well as being flexible for any changes and available occasionally for evenings and date nights.

WHAT WE’RE OFFERING

RATE:

Starting at $35-37/hour, $1,500 a week, Approx 72,000/year not including overtime .

SCHEDULE

Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM 40-45 hours/week. Fixed teaching schedule.
