Come shine with us 🙂 Our Snellville, Ga Childcare Center is hiring a Lead Teacher for 2-year-olds classroom. The teacher will be working in a cohesive teaching team, coordinating and implementing the curriculum, and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom

BAU:

Must arrive on time. 7:00am – 1:00pm Prepare / organize / clean up classrooms before/after each session Supervise foods/drinks/snacks serving to children, and help cleaning/sanitizing kitchen, dining, hallway areas, etc.

Requirements:

Must be able to communicate, listen and partner with others in a team environment. Must be able to develop positive relationships with children and their parents. Lead Teacher must effectively guide teacher assistants, and proactively address parental concerns. Must understand children’s cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. Will be responsible to implement age-appropriate activities based on children’s interests and needs under the supervision of the management team. Will be responsible to observe and document children’s behavior, interest and progress, and relay back to parents and management Additional items: Experienced in driving a BUS/VAN for either morning drop-offs or afternoon school pickups is a PLUS Great oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills Excellent classroom leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills Diploma in ECE – Early Childhood Education is preferred, or CDA Certificate, or Technical Certificate, is preferred Background check is required Required training: Infant/child CPR and First Aid training Health and Safety Orientation Training (prosolutionstraining.com) Salary offered will be based on skills and experience, as well as the level of education/training, and recent employment verification
