Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in areas such as literacy, math, and social skills
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and explore
  • Provide individualized attention and support to each child based on their unique needs
  • Foster positive behavior management techniques to encourage cooperation and respect among students
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child’s education
  • Monitor and assess student progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate interventions
  • Plan and organize activities that stimulate cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments
Experience:
  • Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred
  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles, theories, and practices
  • Familiarity with curriculum development and implementation
  • Ability to create engaging lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of students
  • Experience in early intervention strategies is a plus
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Valid teaching certification or licensure (if required by state regulations)
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
