Daycare Teacher Rays of Hope Childcare 745 W Moores Crossing Rd, Thomaston, GA 30286 Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and educational atmosphere for children ranging from infants to preschoolers. This role requires a love for working with young children and the ability to foster their development through play-based learning and structured activities. Duties Provide high-quality care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood education and childhood development. Engage children in educational activities that stimulate their curiosity and creativity. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging social interaction and emotional growth. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns. Implement classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning environment. Stay current with best practices in toddler care, preschool education, and first aid. Experience Previous experience in toddler care, preschool settings, or as a nanny is preferred. A background in early childhood education or childhood development is highly desirable. Familiarity with classroom management strategies and techniques to engage young learners. Certification in first aid and CPR is a plus but can be obtained post-hire.
