Childcare Worker 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars 513 Industrial Drive, Sandersville, GA 31082 Discovery Academy in Sandersville, GA is looking for one childcare worker to join our 10 person strong team. We are located on 513 Industrial Drive. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and engaged. Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor children’s indoor and outdoor activities
- Change diapers, feed infants and toddlers, assist with toileting, and provide necessary hygiene support.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate learning activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Follow established lesson plans and curriculum guidelines to support children’s learning goals.
- Keep records of children’s progress, routines and interests and relaying needed information to parents
- Assist in preparing food and serving meals
- Maintain a clean and sterile environment Qualifications
- Proven experience in this field is a plus
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift, bend and stand
