The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and educational environment for children, focusing on their developmental needs. As a Daycare Teacher, you will play a crucial role in fostering the growth and learning of young children, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting social, emotional, and cognitive development. Duties Provide attentive care to toddlers and young children in a daycare setting. Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that educate and engage children. Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, structured, and positive learning environment. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional growth. Monitor children’s behavior and implement behavior management strategies as needed. Maintain open communication with parents regarding children’s progress and any concerns. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the daycare facility. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Skills Experience in toddler care or caregiving is essential. Strong classroom management skills to maintain an organized learning environment. Knowledge of first aid procedures to ensure children’s safety. Ability to educate children effectively through engaging activities. Experience working with children, including those with special education needs. Proficient in behavior management techniques to address various behavioral challenges.
