The ideal candidate will provide a nurturing and educational environment for children, fostering their growth and development through engaging activities and individualized attention. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for children of diverse backgrounds and abilities. Engage children in various activities, including arts and crafts, music, storytelling, and outdoor play to promote physical, emotional, and social development. Monitor children’s progress and behavior, providing guidance and support as needed. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s development, daily activities, and any concerns that may arise. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the classroom to ensure a healthy learning environment. Administer first aid when necessary and maintain accurate records of incidents or injuries. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for all children. Qualifications Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education is preferred. Strong classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment. Knowledge of caregiving practices, including infant care and working with children with disabilities. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Ability to educate children effectively while fostering their curiosity and creativity. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues. A nurturing attitude with a genuine love for working with young children. Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or related fields are an advantage.
