Full Job Description Job Summary:

Our growing childcare facility is looking for a Preschool/PreK Teacher who can help create a fun environment and incorporate educational programs that assist in our children’s development and promote our school’s values & philosophies. The Teacher will be responsible for monitoring and teaching children ranging in ages from 2 years old to 4 years old. They will work closely with Administration & other classroom teachers to develop weekly lessons for curriculum that the children will respond to positively & be engaged in their learning. We are looking for individuals who are energetic, patient, and love working with kids! Responsibilities Create and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of children. Supervise and ensure the safety of children in a daycare or classroom setting. Foster a nurturing environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children’s progress and any concerns. Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning atmosphere. Provide care for children ages 6 weeks-4 years, ensuring their basic needs are met. Qualifications Experience working with children in a daycare or classroom setting is preferred but not required Strong knowledge of early childhood education philosophies and/or developmental milestones is preferred Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively & in a positive manner Certification in First Aid and CPR preferred Excellent communication skills to engage with children and parents
