The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of childhood development and working with kids with autism. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for the child. We are looking for a professional that will be able to drop off the child at school every morning and pick the child up every afternoon and remain with child until 6p.m. We are looking for someone that is reliable and have an interest in providing the support needed for the child. Responsibilities Supervise and engage children in daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being. Drop off child to school every morning; remain with the child if no school is attended. Pick-up child from school every afternoon, remain with the child and complete daily activities until 6:00 p.m. Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual requirements. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children’s progress and any concerns. Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to play and learning. Stay current on first aid practices and emergency procedures. Experience Previous experience in childcare settings such as nannying, babysitting, or working in preschools is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles is essential. Familiarity with behavior management strategies to support children’s emotional needs. Experience caring for children with disabilities is a plus.
