Come join our team. We operate a play-based early childhood program (mixed age preschool) in mid-city Baton Rouge. We are seeking someone who is passionate about authentic, child-led play, and can appreciate and actively support the key role it has in all domains of child development.
We are seeking someone who:
Wants to play outside every day, yes, even with the youngest of infants. Lets children take physical and emotional risks. Trusts children with the ability to make sense of the world through unstructured, freely chosen play. Likes to do messy sensory exploration with art materials, yes, even with infants. Is comfortable on a multi-aged playground filled with loose parts and items that might be considered “junk” to others. Wants to be part of a team of caregivers who share space and each lead their own class.

This position can be either full time 7:30
- 5:30 Monday
- Friday or part time 7:30-1:00 Monday
- Friday.
