Part-time Afternoon Teacher Position Available In East Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Part-time Afternoon Teacher Kids’ Cove Daycare & Learning Center 12006 Coursey Boulevard, Baton Rouge, LA 70816 Small, team-oriented early learning center searching for a loving, energetic, and dependable childcare teacher to work with our twos/threes and pre-k classes!

Positions Available:

Part-Time AfternoonTeacher Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-year professional childcare experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Team player and self-motivated
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years old. CPR Certification is not required, but is a plus. Availability from 1:00pm
• 6:00 pm Monday
• Friday.

Reliable transportation to the facility is a must.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety of each child enrolled in the class, whether in the classroom or on the playground at all times.
• Maintain regular observation and evaluation of children’s development and progress as directed by administration.
• Establish and maintain lesson plans based on given monthly themes and curriculum.
• Accept and maintain responsibility on a daily basis, for the ordered arrangement, appearance, decor, and cleanliness of the learning environment of the classroom.
• Interact with each child on a daily basis through circle time, snacks, lunchtime, playground, free play, etc.
