We are currently looking for a Pre-K 4 teacher who is engaging, interactive, and playful with children. Someone who embraces hands-on activities, science eperiments, and is innovative with learning approaches.
Requirements:
CPR Certification (Preferred), Child Development Associate Certification, Associate and/or Bachelors in Educational or Family Studies field, or Early Childhood Ancillary Certificate
- Must be willing to have fun with children to stimulate their interest in learning.
- Establish and enforce rules of conduct for student’s in the classroom.
- Meet the basic needs of students.
- Provides tools and resources for students to use and explore during learning and play activities.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to your student’s interests and learning styles.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, staff and directors.
- Track your student’s progress and report to parents through the Brightwheel parent app.
- Maintain a clean and tidy environment and follow health, safety and sanitation procedures.
- Help students reach developmental milestones.
- Collaborate with others to implement lesson plans and have the ability to create lesson plans.
- Encourage student’s to interact with each other to develop social skills.
- Ensure proper supervision of children at all times.
- Maintain an inventory system of instructional materials and supplies.
- 12 hours of training sessions per year.
CPR / health and safety training. Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
