A passion for working with infants is a MUST! This person must be knowledgeable of the developmental milestones of this age group, and be able to implement appropriate daily activities to meet the infants physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs.

Infant Teacher Duties and Responsibilities:

Collaborate with other teachers to ensure continuity of care and education Create and implement daily activities that align with the developmental needs of infants Provide a safe and nurturing environment for infants to grow and learn Attend to the physical and emotional needs of infants, including diapering, feeding, and comforting Document daily activities and communicate with parents/guardians regularly Maintain a clean and organized classroom Follow all State and Federal regulations regarding infant care and education Participate in professional development classes to stay current with best practices in infant care and education Infant Teacher requirements and qualifications: Previous experience working with infants 6 weeks to 18 months old, in a childcare setting Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent A CDA, Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development is encouraged. Knowledge of infant development and care excellent communication and interpersonal skills Must be able to pass a State Background Check in order to be considered for the position.
