The ideal candidate will be responsible for short term care and supervision of infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, ensuring their safety, development, and well-being while parents attend 45 minute workout classes. Duties Provide attentive care to infants and toddlers, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. Engage children in age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development. Occassional diapering for infants and toddlers. Supervise playtime activities indoors Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for children at all times. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s behavior during class time. Work collaboratively with other gym staff to create a cohesive team environment. Adapt caregiving techniques to accommodate children with disabilities or special needs. Qualifications Previous experience in childcare settings such as nannying, babysitting, or working in a classroom environment is preferred. Experience with infant care, toddler care, and preschool-aged children is prefferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with children and their families. Patience, creativity, and the ability to educate through play are crucial attributes for this role. Certification in CPR and First Aid is mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is required. A background in caregiving or working with individuals with disabilities is beneficial.
