EEC CERTIFIED TEACHERS I/T
& Preschool Ready, Set,Grow ELC 68 Park Street, North Attleboro, MA 02760 Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early educational experiences of children aged 3 to 5 years old. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages social interaction and emotional growth. Manage classroom behavior effectively, utilizing strategies for behavior management to maintain a safe and respectful atmosphere. Conduct regular assessments of children’s progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs. Collaborate with parents and caregivers to discuss children’s development and address any concerns regarding child welfare. Provide early intervention support for children who may require additional assistance in their learning journey. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment that is conducive to learning. Teach physical education activities that promote physical health and motor skills development. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred; relevant experience in daycare or preschool settings is essential. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create an engaging learning environment. Experience in behavior management techniques to support diverse learners effectively. Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices, including early intervention strategies. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff members. A genuine passion for working with young children and promoting their welfare through quality education and care. Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred but not required.
