Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher Early Learning Child Care, Inc. 322 Maxfield Street, New Bedford, MA 02740 Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant/Toddler to join our vibrant educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their growth and development through engaging activities and lessons. This role is essential in shaping the early educational experiences of our students, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. Provide attentive caregiving for infants and toddlers, ensuring their physical, emotional, and developmental needs are met. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and social interaction among children. Manage classroom activities effectively to maintain order and facilitate learning. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns that may arise. Observe and assess children’s development, adjusting teaching strategies to meet individual needs. Collaborate with fellow educators to create a cohesive curriculum that aligns with educational standards. Skills Strong background in educating young children, with experience in Infant/Toddler settings or daycare environments. Proficient in caregiving techniques for infants and toddlers, demonstrating patience and understanding. Excellent classroom management skills to maintain a productive learning atmosphere. Ability to engage children through creative activities that promote learning and development. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with parents, staff, and children. A genuine passion for working with children and contributing positively to their early education journey.
