Job Description
- Implement the instructional program as identified through the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and district’s curriculum.
- Maintain appropriate classroom environment with relation to discipline and student safety.
- Communicate with parents and/or guardians.
- Work collaboratively with administration and support staff to ensure student success.
- Prepare required plans and reports, including, but not limited to, progress reports, individualized education plans, and report cards.
- Conduct testing as needed.
- Maintain accurate records, including student grades and classroom attendance.
- Participate in team meetings as necessary.
- Maintain high academic standards.
- Pursue professional development as necessary and appropriate.
- Participate in committees and activities as appropriate and in conjunction with contractual agreements.
- Work collaboratively with staff to plan curriculum and instruction.
- Promote equity.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
