began as a pop-up program offering sensory classes and has since evolved into a full and part-time early education center serving children from 3 months to 3 years old. We are rooted in the belief that children learn best through hands-on, process-driven experiences that support their creativity, independence, and curiosity. Our classrooms are calm, creative, and nurturing spaces where children are invited to explore with all their senses. We value connection, community, and a love of lifelong learning—both for children and educators. Position Summary We are looking for a Lead Teacher to join our team and take a guiding role in our infant or toddler classroom. This position is ideal for an experienced educator who is excited to design engaging sensory-rich environments, support the development of young children, and mentor assistant teachers in a collaborative, respectful setting. Responsibilities Develop and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based curriculum Observe, document, and respond to children’s needs and emerging interests Create a warm, safe, and sensory-rich classroom environment Model responsive caregiving and respectful communication Partner with families to share updates, insights, and developmental milestones Supervise and support Assistant Teachers in the classroom Maintain compliance with MA EEC regulations and center policies Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development Minimum Qualifications Must meet MA EEC Lead Teacher certification requirements At least one year of experience working with infants and/or toddlers in a licensed setting Strong understanding of child development and responsive caregiving practices Ability to plan curriculum and foster a nurturing classroom environment Willingness to complete required background checks and EEC trainings Preferred Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or RIE-informed experience or interest CPR/First Aid certification Excellent communication and organizational skills Why Work at PLAY? Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time Pay:

$22.00 – $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
