Job Description
Old Mill Pond Elementary School, located in the Palmer Public School District, is looking to add a preschool teacher(s) to our team. We are committed to providing students with a positive learning environment focused on meeting the needs of all learners. The ideal candidate will be able to develop relationships with students and families to create a welcoming classroom community. You will be a part of a teaching team that works collaboratively to plan lessons using Wonders ELA curriculum, Lively Letters, and Engage NY math curriculum. Our preschool teachers are essential in building foundational skills to ensure students’ love of learning.
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid DESE License –
Early Childhood:
Students with and without Disabilities (PreK-2).
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
- Experience and practice teaching children at the early childhood (Prek-2) level.
- Knowledge of curriculum including Engage NY, Wonders, Lively Letters, and Handwriting Without Tears.
- Effectively communicate regularly with parents and colleagues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
