Position Overview We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and dynamic Assistant Director to lead our team. The ideal candidate is a strong leader, team player, and advocate for high-quality early childhood education. This role requires a deep understanding of early childhood best practices, adherence to DEEC regulations , and a commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and direction to staff, ensuring a collaborative and professional environment. Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with DEEC regulations and licensing requirements . Develop and implement a play-based curriculum that aligns with the center’s philosophy. Recruit, train, and support a high-performing team of educators. Build strong relationships with families, creating a welcoming and inclusive community. Maintain accurate records and ensure the center operates efficiently. Foster a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and creativity. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Director Certification from DEEC (or eligibility to obtain).
