Career in Early Education Preschool Social Academy 50 Cross Street, Winchester, MA 01890 Are you looking for a career in Early Education? Our private preschool in Winchester is looking for Early Educators! We are a school of 5 classrooms: toddlers, toddler/preschool, preschool, preschool/pre k, and our pre k room. We support a positive working environment with ample time off for mental health days, planned vacations, and sick time. Our team is supportive and we make sure to have all the tools that teachers need to run their day to day curriculum. If you need something (20 special mothers’ day gifts you want to do with your class, a new learning tool for your kids, rainbow blacks, river rocks — just let us know and it magically appears in your classroom in the next day or two. We are open 8-5 Monday through Friday, we offer 10 paid days off to start, 17 paid holidays, and are closed the week between Christmas and New Years. We have a fully paid dental plan and a matching 401K. Our preschool classes are capped at 18-20 and we have 3 teachers per classroom. We have the GOOD catered bagels and cream cheese every Monday morning, a catered lunch every Wednesday, and somebody tosses something in the crockpot for us every Friday! We do yearly cakes for each birthday or anniversary (we really like cake). We also do weekly luncheons where a staff member picks a meal they would like to make in the school’s crock pot and we supply the funds for them to do so. It’s great to try new things! We keep our kitchen stocked with fresh fruit, sodas, chocolate, candy, individual chips, energy bars, easy ramen noodle cups, easy mac-n-cheese cups, & other snacks — all free! More Kuerig pods than you can dream, of including hot chocolate! We have an ice maker, water filter, and sugar free flavored packets in our kitchen. Help yourself! Have a favorite creamer? No problem, just let us know. We’ll get that in our kitchen fridge for you. We enjoy going for dinner & drinks together and often visit other preschools with similar philosophies for our “staff meetings” and team building activities. We’re a curious group and we like to explore and learn more about each-other and the early ed field. We can not wait to have you join our team! All of our teachers are vaccinated and follow all protocols to keep each other, families and children safe. We are offering full time 8-5, part time 8-2, or 12 -5 positions. Ideally these would begin now or on or around Summer/September.
