Job Description
In collaboration with other professional and paraprofessional staff, this educator will work within the school setting to facilitate instruction for all students in a classroom setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Creating engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues and guardians to support each child’s growth
- Manage effective classroom routines
- Participate in professional development opportunities and team collaboration
- Provide a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for students to foster their academic, social, and emotional development
- Research and implement evidence-based interventions and teaching strategies, and follow the district curriculum
- Communicate and engage families in the educational life of students
- Assume necessary supervisory responsibilities when required
