The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of childhood development and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role requires creativity, patience, and the ability to engage with children in a meaningful way, ensuring their educational needs are met while promoting their overall well-being. Responsibilities Develop and implement lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards and cater to the diverse needs of students. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Utilize various teaching methods, including Montessori techniques, to facilitate hands-on learning experiences. Monitor and assess student progress, providing individualized support as needed to promote academic growth. Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support child welfare and development. Teach physical education activities that promote health, coordination, and teamwork among preschoolers. Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and enhance the overall educational experience for students. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with early intervention strategies and educational trends. Experience Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles is essential for creating effective lesson plans and activities. Experience in tutoring or providing individualized support to students is a plus. Familiarity with classroom management techniques and child welfare practices is highly valued. A background in Montessori education or similar approaches will be advantageous.
