Lead Teacher with Administrative Pathway Kids International Early Childhood Education 412 Old State Road, Ellisville, MO 63021 Lead Teacher/Assistant Director at Kids International Kids International is a NAEYC Accredited, Reggio Emilia inspired school. We are a hiring lead teacher for our Two-Year- Old classroom. This position also offer an assistant director opportunity for the right candiate. We are looking for teachers who are creative, flexible and enjoy helping children reach their potential. The dual position of lead teacher/assistanat director is perfect for someone who wants hands on opportunity with the children but also wants to be a driver in the growth and development of our center.
Lead Teacher Qualifications:
Have a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, a CDA certification, or working towards those credentials. We will provide scholarships for you to complete your certifications/degrees through TEACH. Have experience as a lead teacher in a childcare center. Be able to work well in a team environment. Be energetic, flexible, patient, loving and creative. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Possess strong organizational skills and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Lead Teacher Responsibilities include:
Lesson planning Creating individual developmental milestone goals Parent-Teacher conferences Anecdotal note taking Daily record keeping and day notes for each child
Supervising Assistant Teachers Daily Cleaning Assistant Director Responsibilities Include:
Help develop Center Training manuals Assist in conducting tours for prospective families Help manage student enrollment process Projects to support the growth of the cente
