The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of infant children. The Infant Teacher will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate activities, sanitation measures, managing classroom behavior, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. Foster a positive classroom environment and monitor infants at all time. Provide individualized attention to children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities. Supervise daily activities, meal times, and nap times. Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress and any concerns. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment in compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the overall educational experience for children. Requirements High School Diploma Must pass background check Experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings is highly desirable but not required. Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices. Skills in behavior management to effectively guide children’s interactions. First Aid/CPR certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held. Experience in toddler care, infant care, or babysitting is beneficial. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. A compassionate approach towards educating young children while fostering their growth.
