Preschool Teacher Kid Academy 918 East Pass Road, Gulfport, MS 39507 Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our vibrant educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of childhood development and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role is essential in shaping the early educational experiences of children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning in various subjects including math, literacy, and social skills. Create a safe and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery. Monitor and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their independence and self-esteem. Collaborate with other educators and staff to support the overall educational goals of the preschool. Implement early intervention strategies for children who may need additional support. Maintain a clean, organized classroom that meets health and safety standards. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. Experience in childcare settings, particularly with preschool-aged children. Proficiency in teaching basic math concepts tailored for young learners. Familiarity with toddler care practices to ensure the well-being of all students. Ability to create engaging classroom activities that cater to diverse learning styles. Experience in private school settings is a plus but not required. Understanding of early intervention techniques for children with developmental challenges. Tutoring experience is beneficial for providing additional support to individual students.
