The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for implementing educational programs that promote learning through play, exploration, and hands-on activities. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to support the overall development of each child. Monitor and assess children’s progress in various developmental areas, including social skills, language development, and motor skills. Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior and conflict resolution among students. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the educational experience for all students. Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s development. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with early childhood education trends and practices. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Experience working with preschool-aged children in settings such as daycare or babysitting is highly desirable. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education. Strong behavior management skills to effectively guide children’s behavior in a positive manner. Ability to create engaging educational activities that cater to diverse learning styles. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for educating young children. Experience working with students with disabilities is a plus but not required.
