Position Summary:

We are seeking a warm, dependable, and passionate Infant Room Teacher to join our dedicated team. You’ll be responsible for providing loving care and developmental support to infants ages 6 weeks to 12 months in a safe and engaging environment that fosters trust, learning, and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide nurturing, responsive care to infants throughout the day Follow a consistent schedule including feeding, diapering, naps, and age-appropriate activities Support the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of each child Maintain accurate records and communicate developmental milestones to parents Keep the classroom clean, safe, and compliant with state regulations Foster strong relationships with children, families, and fellow team members Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; degree in Early Childhood Education preferred Must meet Mississippi state licensing requirements for infant care Minimum of 6 months to 1 year experience in a licensed childcare setting preferred CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Ability to lift 40 lbs, sit/kneel on the floor, and respond quickly to infant needs Clear background check and fingerprint clearance required Strong understanding of infant development and a nurturing personality Why Join The R.O.S.E.
