Child Care Teacher / Floater Calvary Baptist Dayschool 407 South Green Street, Morganton, NC 28655 Calvary Dayschool is seeking a full-time Teacher. Prefer candidates to have NC Early Childhood Credential (EDU 119), Qualified Letter from DCDEE and experience working in a licensed facility. You may apply online or in person. Roles & Responsibilities Establish and conduct an age-appropriate classroom that effectively meets each child’s physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs. Assist the Lead Teacher in preparing and executing weekly lesson plans that support the curriculum outlined by the Director. Provide a loving, nurturing classroom atmosphere with an enthusiastic and flexible approach, actively engaging each child with encouragement and positive reinforcement. Utilize various approaches and classroom materials to encourage self-expression, imaginative play, creativity, problem-solving, and language development across many learning styles. Consistently provide effective parent communication. Ensure the safety of all of the children assigned to your care at all times through constant supervision. Follow all updated health and sanitation procedures.

$10.50 – $15.00 per hour
