Therapeutic Relief ReDi Behavioral Health 1303 South Cannon Boulevard, Kannapolis, NC 28083 As a Therapeutic Relief Support Worker, you will provide compassionate and empathetic care for children within the Department of Social Services (DSS) system. Your primary role will be to offer a calming presence and monitor children who may be experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges. You will create a safe and supportive environment that helps these children feel secure and understood during difficult times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer attentive supervision and monitoring of children to ensure their safety and well-being at all times.
• Provide emotional support and understanding, helping children express their feelings in a healthy manner.
• Create a calming atmosphere, utilizing various techniques to help children decompress and feel at ease.
• Engage with children through activities, such as games, art, or storytelling, to promote positive interactions and healthy coping.
• Communicate effectively with DSS caseworkers and other professionals involved in the child’s care, reporting any concerns or incidents promptly.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations and interactions with children, ensuring confidentiality.
