The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development principles and the ability to implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of preschool-aged children. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a positive and respectful environment for all students. Observe and assess children’s progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs. Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support a collaborative learning atmosphere. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s development and any concerns that may arise. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge in early childhood education. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Experience in childcare or working with young children is essential; experience in daycare settings is highly valued. Strong classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment. Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques. First aid certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not already held. Experience with special education practices is beneficial but not required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff.
